Fortune highlighted Firm Chair Jami McKeon’s participation in a roundtable discussion on employee engagement during the publication’s CEO Initiative in Washington, DC. Ms. McKeon spoke about the importance of the firm’s chief engagement officer role created in 2019. The chief engagement officer focuses on employees’ “life interests,” such as engagement in programming and well-being initiatives, and calls attention to new benefits, new hires, and personal announcements from employees such as marriages and the birth or adoption of children.
"Just the title says to everybody, 'We're focused on employee engagement, we're focused on an engaged relationship,'" Ms. McKeon said during the event.
