Partner Scott Milner was quoted in a Legal Tech News article examining how despite all the advances in artificial intelligence (AI)—especially in document review—flagging privileged documents is one area facing steep challenges.
“We’re seeing [AI] perform better with attorney client communication, but . . . there’s also a number of other privileges in specific industries like the financial services industry, [such as] the bank examiner privilege and confidential supervisory information (CSI), as well as suspicious activity reports (SAR) . . . . I’ve seen [no] models that are focused on those industry specific privileges, which obviously has an impact if you’re supporting the financial services space,” said Scott.
