Partner Rebecca Ford spoke to International Employment Lawyer about proposed whistleblower protection rules for workers within the Abu Dhabi Global Market.
She noted that whistleblowing frameworks exist to enable a disclosure system to be put in place to report serious misconduct. “It will be important, therefore, that the means of communication for serious concerns is not overrun with day to day employee relations concerns, which, whilst important, need to be addressed through different channels,” Rebecca said.
