Financial Times Recognizes Morgan Lewis in 2025 Innovative Lawyers Europe Report
September 22, 2025LONDON, September 22, 2025: Morgan Lewis was recognized by the Financial Times in its 2025 Innovative Lawyers Europe report. The firm was “commended” in the Disputes and Crisis Management category for an appeal led by partners Frances Murphy and Leonidas Theodosiou for Focus Pharma/Advanz Pharma against a UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) decision finding that three pharmaceutical companies were involved in market sharing with respect to the anti-nausea medicine prochlorperazine and claims by the CMA for competition director disqualification orders.
The appeal succeeded in securing a rare judgment by the Competition Appeal Tribunal, which set aside the CMA’s decision in full, rejected the CMA’s claims for director disqualification orders, and explicitly exonerated the directors.
