Courtney noted that compressed election periods can create practical challenges for investors, particularly those without advisory committee representation, limiting their ability to secure internal approvals, and affecting deal outcomes.
Courtney stated, “If investors do not have a seat on the limited partner advisory committee, the election period to make a decision on whether to roll or sell into a CV is excruciating, particularly if there’s a stapled commitment.”
