In a roundup of the week’s “Legal Lions,” Law360 highlighted a Morgan Lewis victory in the Third Circuit on behalf of Amazon in a proposed class action brought under Illinois’s Biometric Information Privacy Act. In a precedential opinion, the court declined to reinstate class claims accusing Amazon and co-defendant Pindrop Security Inc. of collecting consumers’ voice data without consent.
