The article explores the legal and practical challenges businesses, financial institutions, and other market participants may face as the administration implements a sweeping sanctions rollback through temporary waivers and new Treasury guidance. Mike noted that financial institutions are likely to remain cautious as they assess evolving compliance obligations and regulatory risk. 

"Financial institutions are typically more risk adverse than are their clients when we see sanctions programs unwind," Mike said. "I would expect them to be very cautious here as well."
