New England Legal Awards Honor Massachusetts Partners in Distinguished Leader, Managing Partner of the Year Finalist Categories  

BOSTON, August 18, 2026: Two Morgan Lewis lawyers have been named as part of Law.com’s New England Legal Awards, which honor professional excellence in law in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Partner Jonathan Bernstein was named a Distinguished Leader for leadership that helped transform the firm’s finance practice from a regional practice into today’s global practice handling multibillion-dollar transactions. Partner Rachelle Dubow was named a finalist for Regional Managing Partner of the Year for the second consecutive year.

Jon counsels clients on matters such as debt, structured financings, and bankruptcies and advises across multiple industries, with concentrations in banking, sports, and technology. He has been nationally recognized for his representation of corporate Fortune 500 companies. Throughout his career, Jon has held a number of leadership positions. In addition to previously heading the firm’s finance practice globally, Jon also served as managing partner of the Boston office. He continues to provide valuable mentorship for junior lawyers.

Rachelle serves as managing partner of the firm’s Boston office, which includes nearly 200 lawyers handling complex matters across many sectors, including energy, financial services, retail, food and beverage, technology, life sciences, and sports. Rachelle’s own legal practice focuses on counseling, protection, and licensing of intellectual property rights. Rachelle serves as board counsel for the International Trademark Association and on the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors.

Winners will be formally announced at a ceremony on October 8 in Boston.
