Philadelphia Business Journal Names Morgan Lewis Lawyer Maddy Anand a 2026 Women of Influence Rising Star

PHILADELPHIA, August 7, 2026: Morgan Lewis associate Madhumita (Maddy) Anand has been named a 2026 Women of Influence Rising Star by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Maddy is one of seven women selected as rising stars in connection with the publication’s 2026 Women of Influence Awards, which recognize women age 35 or younger who have demonstrated a high level of excellence and achievement early in their careers.

A member of the firm’s corporate and business transactions practice, Maddy advises public and private companies, investment banks, emerging companies, and public company boards on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities law compliance, and other corporate matters. Her work includes US and cross-border transactions, public offerings, private placements, debt offerings, joint ventures, and emerging corporate finance structures.

Maddy also serves on Morgan Lewis’s recruiting committee and is immediate past president and a current board member of the South Asian Bar Association of Philadelphia. Her community involvement includes pro bono work and service on the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention.

The 2026 Women of Influence honorees will be celebrated at an October 15 event and profiled in a special edition by the Philadelphia Business Journal on October 16.
