“Simultaneously, NHTSA's more exacting CAFE standards could serve as another catalyst to further the proliferation of the clean energy transportation sector, by placing additional emphasis on the increased market penetration of EVs and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles — but only if consumer concerns over inadequate infrastructure are addressed,” they wrote.
