Morgan Lewis partners Frances Murphy and Joanna Christoforou and associate Michael Zymler authored a chapter for Global Competition Review (GCR) about cartel enforcement in the UK.
The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is the primary enforcement authority in the UK for civil cartels under article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) and the equivalent Chapter I prohibition under section 2 of the UK Competition Act 1998 (CA98), as well as criminal cartels under section 188 of the UK Enterprise Act 2002 (EA).
