Jeremy Esperon advises investment companies and investment advisers on a wide range of regulatory, compliance, organizational, and operational matters. Drawing on his experience both in government and as in-house counsel, Jeremy advises mutual funds, closed-end funds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), as well as their advisers and boards of directors.
Before rejoining Morgan Lewis, Jeremy served as in-house counsel at a major investment management firm, where he provided legal guidance on matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940, including the formation and launch of new ETFs. He previously served as an attorney-advisor at the US Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Investment Management’s Disclosure Review and Accounting Office.
Jeremy also brings international experience from his service as a foreign service officer with the US Agency for International Development. He is fluent in French and professionally proficient in Spanish.
