Michael Rinehart oversees the firm’s global technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations, driving secure, scalable solutions that support firm objectives and enhance client service. Mike leads a multidisciplinary team focused on modernizing systems, strengthening cybersecurity, and delivering a seamless technology experience across the organization.
Mike brings more than 25 years of experience across professional services, legal, and global industry, including serving as CIO at both international and national law firms. He is known for aligning technology with business strategy and leading large-scale transformations that improve efficiency, resilience, and user satisfaction.
Prior to his current role, Mike served as CIO at an international law firm where he led enterprise-wide modernization and innovation initiatives. He advanced the firm’s use of emerging technologies, including developing and implementing a comprehensive AI strategy and deploying enterprise generative AI solutions that drove significant adoption across the organization. He also enhanced security, improved system performance and mobility, and optimized technology spend.
Before that, Mike served as CIO at a national law firm, where he led a decade of transformation that improved partner satisfaction and enabled significant growth through mergers and expansion. He also expanded technology-enabled services into a multimillion-dollar revenue stream and strengthened the firm’s information security capabilities.
Mike is an award-winning technology executive, recognized as Enterprise CIO of the Year by the Philadelphia ORBIE Awards.
