Reflecting on securing asylum for a client from Eritrea, Zak said, “I’ve done so many antitrust-related things and helping a healthcare system is really important, and preserving healthcare for people and the communities in which the healthcare provider serves it is incredibly important. But getting this guy his freedom to live — whoa.”
Zak also shared his perspective on how AI may reshape the legal profession, noting “[AI] can’t replace judgment, it can’t replace a deposition. It can’t replace the human to human interactions that occur in litigation and transactional work day in and day out.”
