ACI's Legal, Regulatory, & Compliance Forum on Cosmetics & Personal Care Products

Partner Rachel Raphael will be speaking at the 4th Annual West Coast Edition of ACI’s Cosmetics & Personal Care Products Conference, taking place October 7 in Los Angeles.

Raphael will participate in the panel Getting on the Shelf and Staying There: Retailer Expectations for Beauty Brands, which will examine the evolving standards retailers are establishing around ingredients, product safety, sustainability, and claims substantiation. The discussion will address how retailers evaluate product claims and ingredient profiles, liability considerations for private-label and retailer-exclusive brands, evolving packaging and environmental marketing requirements, and strategies for managing supplier relationships and contractual protections.

The Cosmetics & Personal Care Products Conference brings together legal, regulatory, and industry professionals to discuss emerging compliance, litigation, marketing, and business issues affecting the cosmetics and personal care products industry.

CLE Credit

CLE accreditation is available for the conference. ACI states that it is approved by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board and the State Bar of California, and that accreditation will be sought in other jurisdictions requested by registrants. The program is classified as nontransitional for CLE purposes.
