Partner Christina Renner will be speaking at the Competition Law Association’s evening meeting Killer Acquisitions and Acqui-Hires: merger control and antitrust implications. The session will examine these issues from both UK and EU perspectives, exploring the challenges such transactions pose for merger control and the extent to which antitrust enforcement may also address potentially anticompetitive conduct.

The Competition Law Association (CLA) is the British Group of the International League of Competition Law (Ligue Internationale du Droit de la Concurrence – LIDC). They promote the study and discussion of legal developments and commercial practices affecting each of competition law, intellectual property law and their interface, both nationally and internationally.
