Alison P. Patitucci, Ph.D., focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation including patent, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property disputes. She has experience litigating a wide range of technologies including biologic and small molecule pharmaceuticals, gene editing systems, organic and organometallic small molecules, and medical devices.
Alison has experience in all phases of litigation including pre-suit investigations, pleadings, fact and expert discovery, motion practice, and trial. She also has experience with post-grant proceedings before the US Patent Trademark Office. Alison is a registered Patent Attorney and conducts patent opinion work, counseling, and prosecution.
Alison received her Ph.D. in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical chemistry from Ohio State University. Her doctoral work focused on the mechanism of action of allosteric HIV integrase inhibitors. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Alison served as a law clerk to Judge Paul S. Diamond of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She also worked as a patent agent at an intellectual property boutique firm in the greater Philadelphia area.
