Andrew Cross represents a wide range of clients in complex regulatory and transactional matters related to derivatives, repurchase agreements and other structured transactions. Clients include registered and private investment funds, registered investment advisers, financial institutions, commodity trading firms, family offices, and public companies.

For over 10 years, Andrew has advised companies on the development of digital asset, crypto- and blockchain-related projects, and decentralized finance platforms.  He has also been involved in client projects related to the structuring of crypto derivatives and the tokenization of various financial and physical assets, including as gold, agricultural warehouse receipts and environmental credits.

Andrew regularly counsels clients on matters arising under the Commodity Exchange Act, the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and related regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Andrew has represented registered investment companies and registered investment advisers on regulatory matters for nearly 25 years.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Andrew was a finance and regulatory lawyer at another international law firm.
