Corine Martineau, Ph.D., is a registered patent agent focusing her practice on drafting and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications, with an emphasis in life science technologies. Her academic background includes genetics and gene editing, biomedical engineering and medical devices, chemistry and biochemistry, and diagnostic markers and therapeutic compounds. In addition to assisting clients to protect their inventions, Corine also manages patent portfolios, performs landscape analyses, and provides support in patentability analyses and patent due diligence.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Corine performed preclinical research, namely at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Shriners Hospital for Children – Canada. Her work consisted of identifying disease-causing mutations in the pediatric population as well as novel compounds to promote bone fracture repair in at-risk populations.
