Elise Gao

Elise Gao focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, drawing on her background in chemistry and pharmaceutical research. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Elise worked as a medicinal chemist in the pharmaceutical industry, contributing to drug discovery and development across multiple therapeutic programs. Her scientific experience provides valuable insight into complex technical issues involving patents and life sciences. Elise also served as a judicial extern for the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
