The SEC continued its significant focus on public companies in fiscal year 2023 through its enforcement and rulemaking programs, and we expect this heightened level of attention to continue into fiscal year 2024. Recent enforcement activity points to several areas of interest for the SEC and provides public companies a valuable window into the SEC’s priorities for the upcoming fiscal year.
