Washington in the West 2026

Partner Jacob Peterson will be speaking on the panel Developments in IPR Trials at the PTAB at LAIPLA’s Washington in the West 2026, a full-day conference in Los Angeles geared toward patent and trademark practitioners. This annual event features dedicated patent and trademark tracks and brings together leaders shaping the future of IP law. 

This year’s program includes USPTO Director John A. Squires as keynote speaker, with featured speakers Kalyan Deshpande, Acting Chief Judge for the Patent Trial and Appeal Board; Jason Lott, Managing Attorney for Trademarks Customer Outreach; and Christopher Larkin, Administrative Trademark Judge at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
