ABA 2026 Antitrust Spring Meeting
| Wednesday, March 25, 2026 - Friday, March 27, 2026 |
Associate Caiti Zeytoonian will be chairing, moderating, and speaking at the American Bar Association’s 2026 Antitrust Spring Meeting, a gathering of international antitrust/competition, consumer protection, and data privacy enforcers and professionals. Caiti’s panel, Made In USA: Stars, Stripes & Legal Gripes, will take place on Friday, March 27, at 8:30–9:45 am.
The panel, which will feature Caiti alongside two former FTC enforcement officials, the vice president of the National Advertising Division, and a current state enforcer, will discuss how rising tariffs, trade tensions, and renewed consumer demand for domestic goods have led to a surge in “Made in USA” claims. Despite their powerful consumer appeal, these claims are subject to intense regulation and scrutiny. Recent Federal Trade Commission actions and the landmark Bigelow Tea verdict suggest that the “Made in USA” crackdown is just beginning.
Founded in 1878 to promote justice and legal excellence, the American Bar Association is the largest voluntary professional association for lawyers, judges, and law students in the United States. It provides legal education, sets model ethical codes, and accredits US law schools, acting as a national voice for the legal profession.
