2026 Texas Federal Tax Institute

Several Morgan Lewis partners are participating in the upcoming Texas Federal Tax Institute, an annual conference that brings together leading corporate, partnership, and real estate tax professionals from across the United States. Tax partner Sheri Dillon is moderating the program while partners Drew Cummings and Jamie Steele will serve as panelists in two different discussions.

This program provides in-depth analysis of complex federal tax issues, including current developments, regulations, rulings, and case law, with practical insights designed to help practitioners effectively navigate sophisticated transactional matters.

Drew’s panel, Significant Developments in Transfer Pricing: 3M, Facebook, Perrigo, Medtronic and Eaton, will take place at 11:30 am. The discussion will dive into the host of transfer pricing decisions issued by the Tax Court, US District Courts, and the US Courts of Appeals this past year.

Jamie's panel, Managing Third-Party Information Requests in Audits, Courts, and Internationally, will take place at 2:55 pm. His panel will discuss the rules concerning information requests to third parties by the IRS and foreign tax authorities and provide strategies for responding (and contesting) each of the various types of requests from taxing authorities.
