Litigation partner Sandra Moser will participate in the American Health Law Association Annual Meeting & In-house Counsel Program. The conference brings together leading healthcare lawyers, executives, compliance professionals, and in-house counsel from across the industry to examine the latest legal, regulatory, and business developments shaping the healthcare sector. Attendees will have access to extensive programming covering topics such as artificial intelligence, reimbursement and payment issues, fraud and abuse enforcement, transactional trends, telehealth, privacy and health information technology, compliance strategies, and emerging public policy and ethics considerations.
Sandra and her fellow panelists will present Fireside Chat with DOJ Health Care Fraud and Health and Safety Leadership: Current Enforcement Priorities and Compliance Takeaways. The session will feature a discussion with senior US Department of Justice officials regarding evolving enforcement priorities affecting the healthcare industry, including developments in corporate compliance expectations, voluntary self-disclosure policies, and data-driven investigative approaches. Panelists will also address emerging enforcement risks involving technology-enabled fraud and AI-related billing concerns, while offering practical guidance on strengthening compliance programs, conducting internal investigations, responding to government inquiries, and fostering a culture of compliance that may influence prosecutorial decision-making. Her panel is on June 28, 2026 from 9:30–10:30 am ET with a repeat session later in the day from 11:30 am–12:30 pm ET.
