Fashioning the Law Panel Discussion and Q&A

Intellectual Property partner Colleen Ganin will participate in a panel discussion, Fashioning the Law, presented by Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA) and Morgan Lewis. The program will explore the intersection of intellectual property and the fashion industry, including in-house career perspectives and copyright, trademark, and patent protection for designers.

Colleen will be joined by Ayisha Morgan, General Counsel of Elite World Group, and David Eshmoili, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of David Yurman, for a discussion of the legal and business issues shaping the fashion industry.

Topics will include launching and protecting brands, navigating legal challenges, the role of intellectual property in protecting creative work, and the impact of artificial intelligence on fashion.

The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A and networking reception.
