Partner Jennifer Bullock will participate in the American Bar Association’s program, It Affects Lawyers, Too: Preventing & Addressing Bias Against Victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault & Stalking, on September 9, 2026.

This program will examine how domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking affect members of the legal profession and will explore the individual and structural workplace biases surrounding lawyers who are survivors. The panel will also discuss state and federal employment protections for victims/survivors, including laws addressing discrimination, safe leave, and reasonable accommodations, as well as proactive strategies managers and human resources professionals can implement to foster supportive workplace environments.

Jennifer will join fellow practitioners in discussing the legal and practical considerations surrounding workplace support for lawyers who are survivors and the role employers can play in preventing bias and promoting a safe, inclusive workplace.
