72nd Annual Employee Benefits Conference

Partners Craig Bitman and Amy Pocino Kelly and associate Bill Marx will be panelists at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans’ (IFEBP’s) 72nd Annual Employee Benefits Conference on Monday, October 26, 2026, and Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

This conference is one of the largest educational and networking events for employee benefits professionals. It offers educational sessions, industry insights, and networking opportunities focused on the latest developments and emerging trends affecting employee benefits.

Craig will present on the panel Understanding the Fiduciary Duty of Appointing a Multiemployer Trustee. The panel will explore how trustees are appointed, who has the authority to appoint trustees, fiduciary responsibilities and duties regarding monitoring trustees, strategies for recruiting trustees, institutional knowledge and continuity, succession planning, professional trustees, and more. This session will take place twice: on Monday, October 26, and Tuesday, October 27.

Amy and Bill will present on the panel Attorneys: Trust Agreement-What Should and Should Not Be Included, which will focus on utilizing the trust agreement for productive plan administration, the number of trustees and quorum, professional trustees, plan sponsors, and arbitration breakout. This session will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
