Hedge Fund and Private Equity Enforcement & Regulatory Developments

Partner Kelly Gibson will speak at the Practising Law Institute’s Hedge Fund and Private Equity Enforcement & Regulatory Developments 2026 program. She will participate on a panel titled The Defense Perspective: Emerging Issues in Private Fund Regulatory Enforcement. Kelly’s panel will be from 10:15 to 11:15 am ET.

This program provides lawyers and compliance professionals who work with hedge funds and private equity funds practical insight into the latest regulatory and enforcement developments affecting the private funds industry.

Kelly and her fellow panelists will address current government enforcement priorities affecting the private fund sector from the perspectives of defense practitioners and in-house counsel.

They will discuss the industry perspective on regulatory priorities and proactive approaches to managing risk in enforcement investigations, lessons from recent and ongoing investigations and enforcement actions, and best practices for defending private fund advisers in enforcement investigations.
