This webinar will highlight key insights from a recent report prepared by members of our securities enforcement and corporate business transactions practices.

During this session, we will examine how the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) enforcement priorities for public companies are shifting in response to leadership changes, staffing constraints, and a renewed emphasis on traditional investor fraud. Although overall enforcement activity declined in fiscal year 2025, the SEC is expected to increase activity in targeted areas throughout fiscal year 2026 as priorities and resources realign.

We will also discuss the growing prominence of prediction markets and explore considerations for companies evaluating whether their insider trading policies (ITPs) and other internal controls adequately address potential insider trading in prediction markets.
