Morgan Lewis partner John O’Brien spoke with Ignites after the US Securities and Exchange Commission proposed a new disclosure framework for mutual and exchange-traded funds on August 5, 2020. This framework seeks to replace the current disclosure delivery framework. This latest “proposal is a ‘reset’ of that initiative,” Jack said. “And it will allow fund shops to be more creative than they’ve ever been before.”
