Partner Christine Lombardo was quoted in an article by FundFire about how managers should prepare for the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC’s) modernized marketing rule. The SEC has created a new single “Marketing Rule” that replaces the current Cash Solicitation Rule and Advertising Rule. “Firms need to assess where there could be compliance triggers that were not present previously,” said Christine. “I think firms should start doing the inventory and assessing the rules’ implications.”
