Partner Manita Rawat is featured in a World IP Review article highlighting perspectives from female intellectual property (IP) leaders about the differences between equity and equality.
“The best way to embrace equity is to first accept that inequality still exists for women today in IP, and accept that having equity is important to drive innovation and the world’s economy,” Manita said, noting that the US Patent Trademark Office—under the leadership of Kathi Vidal—is ensuring that positions are filled with qualified women.
