Morgan Lewis secured a complete trial victory in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas for LG Electronics, a South Korean multinational major appliance and consumer electronics corporation.
In this case, Multimedia Technologies alleged infringement by LG of various smart television patents. After a multiday trial, a unanimous jury found that LG did not infringe any of the five asserted patents and further invalidated all of the asserted claims, resulting in no damages awarded.
