CENTURY CITY and SAN FRANCISCO, July 30, 2025: Partners Debra Fischer and Michael Weil have been named to the Daily Journal’s Top Labor & Employment Lawyers list for 2025, an annual recognition of California lawyers who have made significant contributions to labor and employment law. This is the third consecutive year, and fourth time overall, that Debra has received the honor.
For more than 30 years, Debra has practiced employment law and unfair competition/trade secret litigation, trying cases in California state and federal courts as well as handling cases in arbitration. Debra regularly counsels employers on all aspects of employment law compliance, risk avoidance, and crisis management.
Michael, an employment litigator for more than two decades, assists clients in a wide range of employment matters, including class actions and high-stakes trade secrets, employee mobility, and restrictive covenant disputes. Michael also regularly handles complex single- or multi-plaintiff matters involving independent contractor status, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
