Morgan Lewis Advises ABFA on JV for the Phase II Development of Lycée Français Jean Mermoz Campus in Dubai
January 30, 2026DUBAI, January 30, 2026: Morgan Lewis advised ABFA Investments Ltd, a Dubai-headquartered private investment company, on the joint venture with Lycée Français Jean Mermoz (LFJM) for the Phase II development of an existing K-12 school campus of LFJM in Al Barsha, Dubai.
The mandate covers the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of joint venture arrangements and ancillary documents related to ABFA’s equity investment into the development undertaken by LFJM on a land plot held under a musataha right (a UAE analogue of a building lease or superficies right) granted by the Knowledge Fund Establishment. The transaction represents ABFA’s first investment in the regional education sector.
