Morgan Lewis Advises on Launch of $50 Million du Ventures Fund
June 25, 2026DUBAI, June 25, 2026: Morgan Lewis advised UAE-based telecom operator du on the launch of du Ventures, a $50 million corporate venture capital fund established in partnership with investment firm Shorooq to accelerate the next generation of digital innovations across the UAE and the broader region.
du Ventures will invest in high-growth technology startups, with a focus on such sectors as fintech, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, gaming, enterprise technology, and digital customer experience solutions. Through the fund, portfolio companies will gain access to both growth capital and du’s digital infrastructure, enterprise network, and industry expertise to help support commercialization and scale.
du is a telecommunications and digital services provider in the United Arab Emirates, offering mobile, fixed, broadband, entertainment, fintech, cloud, cybersecurity, and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to consumers, businesses, and government entities.
Shorooq is a multi-strategy investment firm based in the Middle East that invests across venture capital, private credit, and public markets, partnering with founders and businesses across the MENA region and beyond.
