New York Enacts New Personnel Records Access Requirements, LexisNexis Practical Guidance
October 07, 2026Partner Leni Battaglia, senior consultant Douglas Schwarz, and associates Alanna Fichtel and Alec Whipple authored a LexisNexis Practical Guidance column examining the Employee Access to Personnel Records bill, effective November 8, 2026, which will require New York employers to provide employees with access to their personnel records upon request.
