HONG KONG, LONDON, and PHILADELPHIA, May 5, 2021: IFLR1000 has recognized three Morgan Lewis partners in the 2021 edition of its Women Leaders guide. Joanne Soslow, Ayesha Waheed, and Alice Huang were named among this year’s list of more than 750 women lawyers who are considered among the best transactional specialists in their markets and practice areas based on their work and market feedback.
Joanne counsels public companies, emerging growth businesses, and corporate venture capital groups on corporate and securities matters. She is the deputy leader of Morgan Lewis’s corporate practice and former chair of the securities and corporate governance practice.
Ayesha practices principally in the project finance, infrastructure, and natural resources practice. She represents developers and lenders in oil and gas, power generation, and infrastructure projects, and has experience in all aspects of structuring, negotiating, and drafting finance and commercial documents in connection with international project financings and privatizations. She counsels companies that are developing and deploying new energy resources, including renewable energy.
Alice concentrates her practice on private investment funds, advising registered and unregistered investment advisers based in the United States and in the Asia-Pacific region on the formation, structure, and ongoing management of investments in global markets. Alice also represents institutional investors in negotiating operating and side letter agreements for investments in global private funds.
