Arch Insurance (UK) Ltd. & Others. “The decision on business interruption insurance was ‘policyholder-friendly,’” said Paul, adding that “insurers have already handed over approximately £871 million in payouts under business interruption policies.” He continues, “[s]uch payments will carry on increasing in 2022 and 2023 as a series of similar cases are going through the court.”
