Christopher Pardo
Representing businesses and their executives across a broad spectrum of industries, Christopher Pardo focuses his practice on the defense of complex employment litigation and high-stakes commercial lawsuits. In his nationwide practice, Chris represents corporate clients in federal and state courts, arbitration, and before administrative agencies, handling labor and employment matters across the country, particularly the defense of wage and hour class and collective actions and executive-level disputes. Chris also regularly prosecutes and defends business disputes, including in the areas of business torts, breach of contract, trade secret litigation, and restrictive covenant agreements.
Chris brings deep trial, litigation, and counseling experience to clients on both the prosecution and defense of a range of business disputes, including claims involving business torts, breach of contract, trade secrets, and restrictive covenant agreements. His practice includes defending wage and hour class and collective actions and advising on claims involving race, sex, age, disability, and pregnancy discrimination, as well as claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act, federal anti-discrimination laws, Massachusetts, New York, and other state wage and anti-discrimination laws, and the similar laws of various other states.
- Secured a complete plaintiff’s jury verdict award of $16.3 million for an event and corporate ticket management company against a ticket reseller for breach of contract, tortious interference with contract, and tortious interference with prospective economic advantage
- Defeated a purported nationwide Fair Labor Standards Act collective action on behalf of a national restaurant chain, also defeating related state law class claims
- Obtained a complete dismissal of Massachusetts Wage Act litigation against both corporate and individually named defendants
- Obtained preliminary injunction preventing a former major accounts manager from violating the terms of the applicable restrictive covenant agreement, including noncompetition and nonsolicitation obligations
- Obtained dismissal of Chapter 93A/consumer protection claims for a global airline in a breach of contract matter
- Obtained dismissal with prejudice of race-based hostile work environment claims on behalf of a national retail client
