ABA Business Law Spring Meeting 2025

Thursday, April 24, 2025 - Saturday, April 26, 2025

Morgan Lewis partners Carolyn Welshhans, Luciana Griebel, and Carl A. Valenstein will be participating in the American Bar Association’s Business Law Spring Meeting 2025 in New Orleans, LA.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is entering a period of transition, with shifts in leadership expected to bring changes in regulatory focus and enforcement priorities. This time of transition can create a considerable amount of uncertainty for public companies, SEC-regulated entities, and boards of directors that are seeking to allocate resources and formulate plans for potential new regulatory initiatives and enforcement priorities at the SEC.

Join partner Carolyn Welshhans for this CLE program, The Regulatory Winds Shift in Washington: Understanding the SEC’s New Priorities on Thursday, April 24th at 4:00 PM CT, part of the ABA Business Law Spring Meeting, as she and her fellow panelists prepare practitioners to navigate this transition period.

Luciana and Carl will participate during the International M&A Subcommittee Meeting on Saturday, April 26th, at 9:30 AM CT. Luciana is vice-chair of the committee and Carl will be a guest speaker, discussing M&A issues for cross border deals in 2025 following the change in US administration.
