The 2025 SecLaw Conference brought together legal officers, government affairs professionals, and compliance personnel to gain insights from leading experts on regulatory developments and to engage with panelists. The program highlighted the SEC’s rulemaking agenda, the legislative outlook for asset managers, SEC exams and enforcement, industry hot topics and trends, and developments in digital finance and technology including crypto, stablecoins, artificial intelligence, and more.
Partner Christine Ayako Schleppegrell participated in the panel titled The Shifting Landscape and Future of the SEC’s Exams and Enforcement Programs, which explored how regulatory approaches within the SEC’s Exams and Enforcement Divisions have evolved over the past quarter century in response to changes in technology, investment products, and regulatory priorities. Investment Management partner Todd Zerega was also featured as a speaker on the panel All Things Digital: Crypto, Stablecoins and AI Revolutions, which examined the evolution and intersection of digital assets, stablecoins, and artificial intelligence.
