In a roundup of the week’s “Legal Lions,” Law360 highlighted a Morgan Lewis victory in which the firm secured a win from an Ohio federal court on behalf of Freddie Mac in a nearly two-decade-old lawsuit accusing the company of failing to warn investors about its exposure to the flagging subprime market. The court ruled that the lawsuit hadn’t identified any material misleading statements made by the company in the lead-up to the housing crisis.
