IFLR Honors Morgan Lewis with Equity Deal of the Year and Loan Deal of the Year Awards
October 29, 2026BOSTON, PHILADELPHIA, NEW YORK, and WASHINGTON, DC, October 29, 2026: Morgan Lewis was recognized by The Lawyer and International Financial Law Review (IFLR) at the 2026 IFLR Americas Awards in two categories – Equity Deal of the Year and Loan Deal of the Year.
For Equity Deal of the Year, Morgan Lewis was recognized for its work advising on the $530 million private placement in connection with the business combination between TLGY Acquisition Corp. and StablecoinX Assets Inc. The team included corporate and business transactions partners Rahul Patel and Kevin Shmelzer and associate Maria Natera.
For Loan Deal of the Year, the Morgan Lewis team was honored for its work on the financing for the Sycamore Partners’ $23.7 billion acquisition of Walgreens Boots Alliance. The team included finance partner Marjorie Crider and associates Saman Zand, Gregory Ginther, and Jessica Andrade.
The firm also received recognition as Law Firm of the year in Pennsylvania and as a finalist in five other categories:
