Short selling and activist campaigns can place public companies under heightened scrutiny and require companies to respond thoughtfully and strategically. This session will examine the considerations that public companies should keep in mind when faced with a short attack, from assessing the allegations and determining an appropriate response to navigating disclosure, communications, governance, and investor relations considerations.
