Morgan Lewis Wins Two Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards and Earns Recognition Across Innovation, AI Strategy, and Leadership

NEW YORK, December 10, 2025: Morgan Lewis has been recognized by the Financial Times for its leadership in legal innovation, earning multiple distinctions, including two category honors, at the 2025 Innovative Lawyers Awards North America.

Firm Chair Jami McKeon was honored with a Special Recognition for Outstanding Leadership, celebrating her as one of five women now leading firms in the top 10 of the Am Law 100.

Morgan Lewis was recognized among the top 10 most innovative law firms in North America as part of the Financial Times’ annual Law Firm Index. This table ranks participating firms on a 100-point scale based on several metrics, including innovation in legal practice, technology and data use, investment in talent, social responsibility, and financial growth, and combined with each firm’s top-scoring submissions.

This year, the firm received the following top honors:

• Winner – Practice of Law: Unlocking Capital: For its successful representation of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) in a landmark challenge of Missouri’s anti-ESG rules, convincing a federal court that the regulations conflicted with federal securities law, violated the First Amendment, and were unconstitutionally vague.
• Winner – Business of Law: Digital Tools: For the development of the Custodian Interview Application, a platform that streamlines litigation and investigation workflows by replacing manual interview tracking with an automated platform that consolidates custodian information, flags inconsistencies, and generates concise, searchable summaries with structured insights.
• Highly Commended – Business of Law: AI Strategy: In recognition of the firm’s AI Studio, a centralized platform for training and governance, launched a gamified AI-user certification process in late 2024, resulting in 100% of the firm’s lawyers meeting compliance by August 2025.
