Morgan Lewis Advises Lindblad Expeditions in Acquisition of Majority Stake in White Desert and Echo Charlie

LONDON, September 16, 2026: Morgan Lewis advised Lindblad Expeditions Holdings, Inc. in its acquisition of a 60% stake in White Desert, a luxury Antarctic travel company, and Echo Charlie, an aviation adventure travel company.

Lindblad Expeditions acquired the majority stake for an aggregate cash purchase price of approximately $61 million.

White Desert, founded in 2005 by polar explorer Patrick Woodhead, provides luxury expedition experiences in the interior of Antarctica. Echo Charlie provides luxury adventure journeys to remote destinations around the world aboard a restored DC-3 aircraft. The acquisition expands Lindblad Expeditions’ portfolio of travel brands across air, land, and sea and creates a leading force in experiential travel.
